December 2008 issue
With Christmas now only a few weeks away, I'm sure there are many of you who are still preparing cards; with that in mind, there are five cards designs to choose from in this month's magazine as well as a beautiful Christmas tree project which when completed will look magnificent as the centre piece on your Christmas table.
This month's first Christmas card is by Pat Hosking, entitled Images of Christmas the piece features a whole host of Christmas images including three stockings, each one awaiting the delivery of that special gift from Saint Nick.
Besides the seasonal topics featured, there are still many more projects to choose from, including a striking butterfly piece by Julie Roces a collection of fridge magnets by Dorothy Holness. For those of you who are looking for something different, why not have a go at Jim Owers' Red Dragon, White Dragon cards. The white work version is suitable for a beginner whilst the colour version has a challenging pattern.
Not forgetting, Josie's Information Desk which this month divulges into the top tips that have been circulating on the Magmaker forum, who would have thought that tumble dryer sheets could be so important?
That's about it from me for this month; I shall be back next month with more inspirational parchment cards and designs. In the meantime, may I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
Best wishes
Carl
